How will we help you?
This chart illustrates how we work:
We conduct an initial interview with the parents to get an idea of the situation which has led them to seek information about their child and their immediate environment. After this initial interview, if the parents are satisfied, we will make another appointment to see the child and begin the assessment phase.
ASSESMENT AND DIAGNOSIS
To perform a proper evaluation, 3 or 4 sessions are often necessary. Once the problem has been detected and a diagnosis is issues, we conduct an interview with the parents where they receive a copy of the evaluation report with the proposed treatment.
After evaluating the child and assessing the situation, we will establish a plan of action for each individual case. Each child will receive an individual treatment plan tailored to their personal and situational characteristics.
The duration and price of the sessions will depend on the type of treatment.
SESSION TRACKING WITH PARENTS
Treatment sessions are primarily aimed at children, but throughout the process we also interview the parents regularly. In these meetings we will exchange information and evaluate the treatment as well as the progress of the child.
COMPLETION OF TREATMENT
When we have achieved the objectives posed, we will complete the intervention. This point will be agreed with the parents in a final interview, where we see how far the child has come by looking at their achievements.
